Professional Consultation Services (PCS) was founded in 1977 by Dr. John Mlinarcik, PhD., as a counseling, coaching, and personal development firm. At PCS, we partner with you, your family, and/or business to facilitate positive, long-lasting change, help you gain a better understanding of yourself and others, and foster personal and professional growth using unique assessments, tools, and evidence-based practices.
PCS offers clinical, behavioral, and career assessments, individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as business consulting, coaching, training, and interactive workshops.
Our Counseling Division provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and elder adults. We are excited to now offer therapeutic services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to address their unique social, emotional, and developmental needs alongside their parent/caregiver.
The goal of our Business Consulting Division is to facilitate positive change and business success within the overlapping systems of family, ownership, and management.
PCS brings together a multidisciplinary team of skilled and compassionate social workers, psychologists, and counselors with experience in the assessment and treatment of various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use, marital/f/family relationships, parenting, school or vocational challenges, and adjustment to major life changes (i.e., grief/loss, acute and chronic illness, divorce/separation, etc.).
