    About Us

The Livonia Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1950, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that represents nearly 1,000 members, promotes Livonia, and supports its business community.

The Chamber has provided leadership in and around Livonia with its initiatives to promote careers in the skilled and technical trades, collaboration among political and business leaders across western Wayne County, and engage with ethnic business communities to attract economic development opportunities from foreign companies.

Businesses and organizations gain credibility, referrals, and advocacy through its engagement with the Livonia Chamber, which has the largest membership of any single-community chamber in Michigan. Local consumers are more likely do business with companies that belong to their local chambers because they view such companies as more credible, according to national studies.

The Chamber coordinates dozens of networking, professional development, and business promotion events each year; as well as high-profile speaker events with with neighboring chambers.

The Chamber periodically takes positions and provides concise policy analysis on relevant local business issues, such as signage, tax-incentive programs, and state and local referendums. The Chamber also conducts candidate forums featuring those running for local offices, and regularly interacts with local, county and state policy makers. The Chamber does not endorse candidates or operate a political-action committee.
