Shirley has been actively involved in architecture, planning and design since 1980 and established Arconcepts Architects in 1992. She has continued to be an influential leader to professional women in her field and was one of the first women in the State of Michigan to own, operate, and continually develop a successful Architecture firm. She has developed and nurtured professional relationships of long-term clients such as the Wayne County Airport Authority, Delta Air Lines, DFCU Financial, Ford Motor Company / Ford Motor Land Development, and many more notable clientele. Shirley's knowledge and understanding of planning and development brings new direction to the projects and teams in which she is a part.
