  • Featured High-Profile Speakers
The Livonia Chamber of Commerce has been very fortunate and has become known for our high-profile speaker events, such as Bill Ford, Jr., Mike Babcock and Ken Holland with the Detroit Red Wings, Olympia Entertainment's Tom Wilson, Governor Rick Snyder, Presidential Candidates Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and U-M and MSU Athletic Directors Dave Brandon and Mark Hollis.

    Leadership & Awards Celebration
At the beginning of the year, an evening banquet is held to present awards and celebrate businesses and individuals in the Livonia community. The chamber awards the Best Small and Large Business, Community Enhancement and Ambassador of the Year, while the Livonia Observer honors their Outstanding Youth and the First Citizen. Clarenceville Public School District and Livonia Public Schools also award their Teachers of the Year at this event, which typically has 200-300 people in attendance. The Greenleaf Sustainability Commission presents the City of Livonia Greenleaf Award.

Livonia State of the City Address
A luncheon where the Mayor of Livonia reviews the past year, and discusses future plans for the city of Livonia, the State of the City takes place every March. The event is one of the Chamber’s largest annual events that attracted more than 500 people last year. This very popular annual event offers an opportunity to meet city officials, community leaders and fellow Chamber members.

    Livonia Home Improvement Show
Some 50 exhibitors, including carpenters, plumbers, roof and window installers, concrete experts, and landscaping consultants, are featured at the chamber’s annual Livonia Home Improvement Show every March at the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center. This show, free to consumers, has continued to grow each year in participation and attendance.

    Livonia Business Expo
Livonia's day of the year: the Livonia Business Expo takes place at Laurel Park Place Mall in May. The expo is great for business to business as well as business to consumer. In addition to the trade show, there is our annual Tastefully Livonia that features 10+ local restaurants and the popular Breakfast Business Roundtable that features a panel that discusses current events.

    Livonia Golf Outing
Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy a round of golf on one of the City of Livonia's finest golf courses in July, fun golf-themed games on every hole, networking with fellow members and Livonia business and community leaders. For companies looking to showcase their business, many sponsorship opportunities are available as well as volunteer opportunities. This event has sold out the past few years!

    Western Wayne Business Leadership Banquet
The Livonia Chamber leads this influential annual program that features a unique gathering of political and business leaders from 18 communities across western Wayne County. With a partnership involving several neighboring chambers and the municipal support group, the Conference of Western Wayne, the Livonia Chamber coordinates the banquet to encourage affluent networking and promote the attributes of the region that encompasses the I-275 corridor, around Metro Airport, and into Dearborn.

    Annual Member Appreciation Reception
Chamber’s Annual Member Appreciation Reception in November is one of the Chamber's largest annual events. Some 300 business people join us every year at this popular event as we honor ALL members, longstanding and new!
