Shopping and Dining

Laurel ParkOngoing development and redevelopment projects are expanding Livonia’s array of dining and shopping options for people of all ages and interests.

Livonia has a conveniently sized, up-scale shopping center, Laurel Park Place Mall, which is anchored by Parisian and Von Maur department stores. Laurel Park Place Mall was renovated in 2008 to provide space for several casual dining establishments.

Two other Livonia shopping centers are both in the process of being converted from a traditional mall into modern power centers, featuring a mix of large retailers, smaller shops, restaurants, and other services.

Construction at Wonderland Village, on the corner of Plymouth and Midddlebelt roads, is about two-thirds complete. Site planning for Livonia Marketplace (formerly Livonia Mall), on the corner of Seven Mile and Middlebelt, was taking place in Fall 2008 with the goal of opening new stores in 2010.

Millennium Park, located on the corner of Middlebelt and Schoolcraft, also has a collection of stores, anchored by Meijer and Home Depot.dining

The Haggerty Road corridor on the west side of the city provides Livonianswith numerous fine-dining and casual-dinning restaurants.
