Welcome to Westland Shopping Center – the mall that’s “Built Around YOU!”

Westland Shopping Center was built in 1965 by J. L. Hudson and as one of the first enclosed centers in the United States. The City of Westland literally grew and continues to expand around the center. The name of the city was changed from Nankin Township to its current name to reflect its deep roots to the center. This laid the foundation for our ever-evolving community’s success story.

Here at Westland Shopping Center, we have all the great stores, restaurants and services you love, and we are continually adding new ones too to meet your shopping needs. From anchors like JCPenney’s and Kohl’s, to Shoe Carnival, Victoria’s Secret, Pink, Bath & Body Works, Helzberg Diamonds, Longhorn Steakhouse and Olga’s, to name but a few. With over 70 specialty stores and a great mix of national retailers, we are proud to serve Westland and all the surrounding communities as well.
