Job Type: On Call Account Manager
Prepares contracts for internal and external clients to determine conference
Creates and maintains business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance utilization of VisTaTech Center and Schoolcraft College.
Recommends methods and procedures to enhance operations as it relates to technology, equipment, food service, logistics, and other related issues.
Supports the account management staff who designs, establishes, and oversees the integrated logistics and processes to support non-VisTaTech and VisTaTech Center events
Perform other duties as assigned.
Two (2) years appropriate experience in a related field; knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures and available resources.
Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to work independently and within a team, multitask and be flexible within the work environment.
Ability to operate appropriate office equipment, including computers, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related software.
