    Job Description
    Contacts delinquent accounts by phone, mail, email and text messages. Takes appropriate action to bring accounts current. Maintain accurate and complete records of all collection and recovery activity. Identify and inform management of potential underwriting problems. Ensures that collection operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies, procedures and are legally compliant. Ensure that collection activity is properly documented. Must comply with all Credit Union policies, procedures, and protocols.
    Maintains accurate files and reports on all collection’s activity. Maintain accurate records of collection activity using the tracking system provided by the Credit Union data processor. Respond promptly to member inquires and calls received. Review files and make recommendations and prepare files for small claims filing, repossessions, legal action, and charge offs as needed. Prepares and processes legal items served on Parkside Credit Union, such as garnishments, levies and subpoenas. Prepares and file claims and refunds for Collateral Protection Insurance, GAP insurance, and Debt Protection Insurance. Represents Parkside credit union as scheduled for Small claims.
    Excellent communication, attention to detail and follow-up skills. Ability to perform basic math skills and use decimals to compute ratios and percentages. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work under pressure. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
