Voters in the Livonia Public Schools District will be asked to authorize two funding 
propositions in the Nov. 3 election. The measures asks voters to renew the district’s operational millage and sinking funds program, which funds various school building renovations. The following clip is an explanation of the proposals by Livonia Public Schools Superintendent Randy Liepa.
Meet the Candidates for City Council
The following eight people are running for the Livonia City Council in the
general election on Tuesday, November 3. The top three finishers will earn
four-year terms and the fourth-place finisher will earn a two-year term. The
candidates were asked to make a personal introduction and answer the
following two questions:
1) Knowing there is going to be reduced revenue, what are you willing to do with the City budget and how will that affect attracting businesses to Livonia?
2) What difference can you make as a member of the Livonia City Council?
