Dan West has served as President and CEO of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce since November 2006. He previously worked as a newspaper reporter for nearly 12 years, most recently with The Livonia Observer. The Livonia Franklin High School graduate earned a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.
In the Chamber industry, he earned the Institution of Organizational Management (IOM) designation, the result of completing a four-year, non-profit management program coordinated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a board member for the Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals. In his tenure at the Livonia Chamber, he helped create unique initiatives to support colleges and universities in and around Livonia and workforce development needs for local manufacturers.
Dan is involved in a number of community causes: He serves on the Livonia Community Foundation Board, the Livonia Community Marketing Consortium, as a public-address announcer for sporting events at Livonia Stevenson High School, and as an adult leader for a summer Boy Scout camp on Mackinac Island. He is a past president of the Livonia Jaycees.
After working at out-state newspapers for several years, Dan moved back to his hometown of Livonia in 2001 with his wife, Amy. They have two daughters, Janie and Natalie. They are parishioners at St. Aidan Catholic Church.Email Dan West
Dawnne Toppa has served as Vice President of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce since September 2010. She previously worked as the Director of Public Affairs with the Livonia Chamber of Commerce from Feb. 2008 until late 2010. The Livonia Franklin High School graduate has attended Schoolcraft College and Eastern Michigan University.
In the Chamber industry, she earned the Institution of Organizational Management (IOM) designation, the result of completing a four-year, non-profit management program coordinated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
In her time at the Livonia Chamber, she has created and improved a number of Chamber events; including the improvement of registration at large events significantly and creating the Blind Networking lunch.
Dawnne is a past Livonia Jaycees president and currently a Livonia Kiwanis Early Riser. She is also a Notary Public.

|Debbie Ferensic, office manager, has worked at the Livonia Chamber of Commerce since 1996. The Livonia Franklin High School graduate earned an associate’s degree from Schoolcraft College.
Debbie is involved with Livonia’s Sacred Heart Byzantine Catholic Church. She has a grown daughter, Kelli.

Laura Tahmouch, director of marketing and events, has worked with the Livonia Chamber of Commerce since January 2011. The Downriver native attended Madonna University and graduated with a BA degree in Journalism/Public Relations. During college, Laura interned at multiple companies; including a non-profit, a small public relations firm and a local magazine.
Since being with the Chamber, Laura has helped redesign the Chamber website and manage its content. She's also managed the Chamber's various social media platforms and created the YouTube Channel - TheLivonia Chamber - in addition to coordinating 30 some events a year.
